USPS has resumed package delivery to the package lockers.
The United States Postal Service will no longer leave packages in either of the two subdivision package lockers. If your package does not fit in your personal mailbox or your cluster mailbox slot, it will not be delivered. The alternatives are to coordinate with the Pie Town Post Office and meet our mail carrier when she arrives for mail delivery or drive to the Pie Town post office to pick up your package(s).
There were two reasons given for this change in procedures:
- A resident complained trash was being left in his mailbox.
- A resident complained of stolen packages from the package locker.
